Lifestyle: You've Always Had the Power, My Dear.
Always, writing has been a
passion and talent of mine.
But, it wasn’t until my
sophomore year in college
that I learned about online
media, blogging and felt
inspired to write posts.
Even now, I’m the girl who

In 2012, I earned my BA in communication (with an emphasis in PR) and launched my very first business. While working a full-time job, I got on my PR girl grind and worked as a fashion publicist under the name, Vandie B. For three years, I did my thing. Eventually, I revamped my brand identity and gained a ton of experiences through trial and error. After those three years, I dropped the DBA (doing business as), and operated under Thaschara VanDyke Public Relations (TVPR). Same hustle, different name. This time around, I just wanted to be me and more open with being at the forefront of my business.
I experienced the most success during my TVPR run, but there came a time when I had to decide between managing my personal life or managing my business - and, I chose my personal life. This was one of the most challenging moments for me, but I have no regrets. Through it all, I was hopeful that something beautiful would blossom from this trying time.
I’ve shared this to say that this part of journey motivated me to re-launch Thaschara.com and jump into blogging, again. All along, I had the power and uniqueness to do me and build my personal brand. I had to take the time and experience life to learn it for myself. Thaschara.com is the place where I can be myself, share my inspirations, my passions and talents and put out whatever content that I desire.
At some point in our lives, we have that defining moment where we recognize the beauty and power in who we are. What did this moment look like for you?
